JTF-2 was initially set up around 2003, where we started up as a squad to play Delta force/BHD/Joint Ops.

We have seen and experienced significant changes along the way. In the earlier days, the majority of us were Canadian and we were involuntarily prompted by the wonderful Nova to put an end to our gaming fun, which led us to play America's Army (AA). Due to this upheaval, the Canadian contingent got fewer as did the member list of active players in the squad. However JTF-2 remained strong during this time and actively recruitied new members from "over the pond", i.e. the grand EU.

Those where very scary times, when all the Canadians disappeared. However we continued and grew again thanks to the European connection. This 'growth' was positive and has got us to where we are now. Such positive developments and testing of different games, led us to focus our online efforts to play Armed Assault. This has continued to be our main game providing us with our main focus as a squad.

Our way of gaming is an open door policy of come in and join. This works well, as other people see us for what we are. If visitors don't like it then they are not welcome. As a squad we value our friendships and don't actively recruit. However our members value good players in our servers and will contact you if we think you have what it takes to hold a JTF-2 tag, which in our opinion, this is the best way of "recruiting".
